Dr. Michael GagnonDr. Mike Gagnon is a chiropractor and owner of Ironwood Chiropractic Health & Wellness Clinic which he founded in 1993 in Richmond, British Columbia. Dr. Gagnon graduated with a B.Sc., in Chemistry from the University of Victoria and then received his Doctor of Chiropractic (Hon) designation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, California. His approach to treatment is to improve his patient’s health and wellness in all areas of their lives. Dr. Gagnon likes to treat the 'whole person' in his work as a chiropractor, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, which usually arise from imbalances in the spinal column. Under Dr. Gagnon's supervision and care, patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives. Additionally, Dr. Gagnon has over twenty plus years of ongoing continuing education including, but not limited to, the following: Current Research, Chiropractic Philosophy from many of the leaders of our profession, X-ray, CT and MRI Imaging, Orthotics, Medical Legal report preparation, Wellness and Prevention. He has studied management and rehabilitation of concussion and concussion-related disorders (CCM) and is also Lifestyle Medicine Certified. Dr. Gagnon is an avid sport and outdoor enthusiast, and is actively involved in the local baseball scene and could not be more excited to be giving back to the community that has provided him with so much.

Dr. Josh StephensonDr. Josh Stephenson BHK, DC graduated from Trinity Western University in Langley, B.C. with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics – Kinesiology degree in 2014. He spent the following two years travelling and working as a Kinesiologist before continuing his education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario, where he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2021.
Dr. Stephenson is very excited to have begun his professional practice at Ironwood Chiropractic Health and Wellness Center. He is also serving as one of the department chiropractors for the Trinity Western University Athletics department where he will be treating a diverse group of varsity athletes. Dr. Stephenson is primarily focusing on the men’s hockey team, as he is a proud TWU men’s hockey alumnus (2009-2014).
Dr. Stephenson uses diversified spinal manipulative therapy (SMT) while also putting an emphasis on soft tissue therapies, including myofascial release technique (MRT), stretching, posture correction and exercise. He believes that it is important to treat the person as a whole, to find and correct the underlying cause of a problem, rather than treating individual symptoms.
Outside of work, Dr. Stephenson enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife, Nikki, who is set to graduate as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in June 2022. Favourite activities and hobbies include hockey, snowboarding, hiking, camping, traveling, and playing guitar. -
Dr. Joseph LingDr. Joseph Ling was always passionate about sports and physical activity. Growing up, he played a variety of sports, including volleyball, basketball, and snowboarding, and he loved the feeling of pushing his body to its limits and testing his abilities. As he got older, he began to realize that proper form and alignment were key to preventing injury and achieving peak performance.
It was this realization that led him to pursue a career in chiropractic care. He attended the Southern California University of Health Sciences, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Since then, he has dedicated his career to helping others achieve optimal health and wellness through personalized and effective treatment.
As a chiropractor, Dr. Ling believes in a holistic approach to healthcare. Rather than just treating symptoms, he works to address the root cause of his patients' issues and uses a variety of techniques, including spinal adjustments, massage therapy, and rehabilitative exercises, to help them achieve optimal health and function.
Dr. Ling is also passionate about educating his patients on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and empowering them to take control of their own well-being. He is dedicated to providing the highest quality care to each and every one of his patients and looks forward to helping them on their journey to optimal health. -
Dr. James GordonJames grew up in Prince George, BC, where he developed a deep passion for sports and functional movement. He played a wide range of sports throughout his youth, with a particular focus on ice hockey, which he played at both the junior and university levels. Today, James continues to stay active through recreational hockey, golf, pickleball, and the occasional overnight hike with his wife, Erin. James’ journey into chiropractic care began with undergraduate studies at Trinity Western University. He then pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, where he graduated in 2024 Magna Cum Laude. James has developed a strong foundation in evidence-based chiropractic care, functional movement, and rehabilitation. James is passionate about helping patients stay active and pain-free by addressing movement dysfunctions, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. His approach focuses on restoring function through soft tissue work, exercises, neurodynamics, manual adjustments, and empowering patients with the tools they need for long-term health. He continues to expand his expertise with advanced certifications.
